Our event in October was a great success We will be continuing to seek your support in the coming months.
Sunday Night October 14th:
The United Churches of
Hanover Choir. The choir led our worship in a powerful way. Truly an example of the beauty of heavens's Choir.
Sarah Pate, Manager of Integrated Media for
Operation Blessing, gave us a personal glimpse into the needs of those
in the camps from her visit there.
Monday Night October 15th:
The Joyful Gospel
Singers told us to make a difference. They brought a powerful message of hope and
good news.
Carrie Hartwell told us of the ministry to
those who have fled from this war torn region to Richmond. Her
commitment is an inspiring story.
Tuesday Night October 16th:
Arise!, the Mt. Pisgah Praise team came and blessed us with music to gather hearts in worship of the Lord.
Jessie Buckman, Miss
Greater Richmond for 2007, gave us a powerful perspective on how we can
not only send relief to Darfur, but how we can divest ourselves from
financial support of a genocidal government.
October 14th, 15th, and 16th were nights to rejoice in and remember.
